About Me

My name is Frieder Wagner and I am an international Student at Tiffin University in Tiffin, Ohio. I was born and raised in Stuttgart, which is a town in southern Germany. Ever since I can think, sports played a huge role in my life. I grew up in a skiing family, playing soccer and golf as well. At one point in my life, I had to decide between those three sports to pursue my dream of becoming a professional athlete. Ultimately, I chose soccer and joined the youth academy of the Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart. After going through several youth teams and finishing my high school diploma, I decided to move to the United States to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Marketing and continue my soccer career on a competitive level. After two years at Tyler Junior College in Texas and 2 more years at Liberty University in Virginia, I finished my undergrad and am now pursuing my MBA in Sports Management at Tiffin University. I am currently a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Men´s Soccer team here at Tiffin, hoping to take this hands-on experience of the soccer world into a successful sports management or sports marketing business career.
