My Name is Frieder Wagner and I am an international student and former student-athlete at Tiffin University. After being actively on the soccer field for over 4 years in the US, I decided to switch roles and am now a Graduate Assistant Coach for TU Men´s Soccer, while finishing my MBA in Sports Management. After college, I desire to stay in the sports industry working closely with athletes in the sports-marketing area. Mentorship Description
The mentorship that will be documented in this blog will be conducted at Warubi Sports, with the supervision of my mentor Herbert Biste. Warubi Sports is a full-service soccer company that is based in West Palm Beach, Florida. The company has three main business offerings, Warubi Events, Warubi Careers, and Warubi Development. The biggest service that the company offers is its scholarship agency, which is part of the development program.
Warubi conducts the scholarship agency business through their partner company Athletes USA, which is the number one scholarship agency on the market. Both companies are located in West Palm Beach and work hand-in-hand to guarantee their clients the best possible outcome in the search for a sports scholarship.
I will be gaining behind-the-scenes views of the daily business of Warubi Sports, mainly including the marketing and content-creation aspect, but my main area of responsibility during my mentorship will be the role of a global scout for Warubi Sports through Atheltes USA.
