    Day 10 - February 2nd (3hrs)

After learning how the CRM platform Pipedrive works, which is an essential part of every work process within Warubi, I finally dove into the content creation part of the tutorial. I learned how Warubi as well as Athletes USA are creating social media posts for new committed or signed players (meaning either new customer for Warubi or players that completed their process and committed to a college). As already stated in previous blogs, every step of a customer in their recruiting process is marked within Pipedrive. As soon as a profile is finished, and the player is ready to be promoted, or a player committed, the marketing team receives an email from Pipedrive about the respective athlete being ready for promotion. The first step is to add every athlete to the committed/Signed document. This helps to keep a structured overview of what posts need to be completed. Since it doesn´t take too long for one post (once you got the hang of it), the marketing team usually adds up to ten players to the list before any posts are created. The graphic outlines are already premade. There are certain images and information pieces that need to be created in order to finish the graphic. These include a cut out player picture, the school logo as PNG, the name of the school and the starting date of the player. The hardest part of this process is to professionally cut out the player picture which can be a little tricky. Tools that can be used are either Photoshop or Canva, which I am learning to use both. Photoshop is needed to change the graphic in general, whereas Canva is the more useful tool to prepare the individual pieces of the post. After learning all the details of how to create a committed/signed social media post, I will be able to put my knowledge into action during my next day of the mentorship.
