Today was a very interesting day to me as I was diving back into the marketing guide from Warubi Sports. The topic of today was search engine optimization, or SEO. I started off learning about the SEO strategy of Warubi Sports. Some of the key takeaways from the strategy were to always use keywords within the first paragraph or even within the first sentence of an online post in roder to clear the content. Additionally, it is extremely important to use keywords naturally and don´t force them onto the customer. The keyword density should be around 1%. Obviously, it can be more or less, but it should never seem forced or crammed in. Additionally, keywords itself is a major topic and vital for successful SEO. Warubi uses Ubersuggest for keyword search. After new keywords are introduced, they will be added to an excel document that links all websites, posts and successful keywords. Lastly, I learned that google analytics plays a major role in the SEO strategy of Warubi. Especially the new Google Analytics Tool GA4. I went ahead and created a profile with the Google academy and took lessons on GA4. I finished the day with a certification exam to be certified in using the Google Analytics 4 tool. The exam was pretty tough and took about 90 minutes. Before the exam, I had to complete several lessons that introduced me to GA4, talking about properties, data collection within the tool and lastly key measurements that shoe effectiveness of someone’s own marketing efforts.
