Day 19 of my internship was all about learning again. It is quite nice to have a certain rhythm of work days. I usually have one day where I completely focus on the scouting part while the second work day is usually connected to the marketing part of the mentorship, which is a lot of learning by doing. As previously mentioned, Marvin (who is the Head of Marketing at Warubi) has given me access to their marketing guide which is used for onboarding purposes but also for constantly educating and improving your personal marketing skills. One major part that he told me to study was the SEO portion of the guide. Google analytics plays a major part in the SEO strategy of Warubi, which is why I already finished my certification in the new google tool GA4. Since Warubi combines the new as well as the old version of Google Analytics, I spend today focusing on a general overview of Google 360, and the next day I will complete my certification for the universal google analytics software. The google analytics 360 workshop was extremely educational and gave me great insight into what all is possible with the google marketing software. I learned about Google 360 Big Query exporting, predictive analysis and life-time value modelling as well as custom bidding in display and video 360. The course itself takes roughly 4 hours to complete, but it provides you with the option of going back through each lesson. As there was a lot of information in a short period of time, I went through the lessons again to deepen my knowledge and expertise. I specifically went back to the modules of conversion tracking, UI demo and benefits for app campaigns, as these areas are very prominent in the SEO strategy of Warubi Sports. This Google 360 workshop has set up for the next google certification I will complete within this mentorship, which is the Google Universal certification in order to be able to use both GA4 and Universal Analytics.
