    Day 27 - March 16th (3hrs)

Today was another website building/strategy planning day. As previously mentioned, one of the major tasks for me right now is to come up with a content strategy plan for my blogs. The difficult part is to differentiate between the US market as well as the European market. The content for the US market will be more educational in terms of recruiting and actual steps and tips that can help you to get noticed by coaches, while the content for my German audience will be very extensive and describing every single aspect of college soccer. I created a chart where I collected different thoughts for my US website. I ranked the different topics and spoke to a close friend of mine, who is currently working for a recruiting agency in Spain called Eture. After getting some feedback, I was able to narrow down 20 topics I want to write about on my blog for the US target market. After finishing my content planning part, I started working on the German website. I created the basic layout using wix, and started brainstorming about how I want the website to be structured. I quickly realized that this will be way harder than the US website. The first website is simply structured into Homepage, Blogs, About Me and Contact, as I want to keep it as simple as possible. The Germany website on the contrary will have to be more extensive and detailed. Therefore, I was trying to figure out how I want to arrange it. The same pages as above will be included as they are the basic pages needed for a scholarship scouting website. Additionally, I will have a page where I will be posting interviews with current and former players to display their experience. I will also have a example page of schools and their facilities. Lastly, I want to create a page that explains the system within the NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA, as well as expectations for different levels.

Mentorships, as well as internships, are an extremely valuable tool for students to prepare for the real world.
